How TribeHired works for you

The short version: you set up once, stay in control of who sees you, and let companies come to you. Here's the detail.

How screening works

A screening is a short, friendly 20-minute Zoom call with a TribeHired interviewer. We talk through what you've actually done and what you're looking for, so a company can move forward to the 2nd-round interview.

Once you've done it, you're a screened, vetted candidate. Because the same screening is reused for every company hiring your stack, you only ever do it once — you don't repeat it for each employer.

It's always free to you — companies pay for the screening, never you. And there's nothing to prepare: just be yourself and have a good conversation.

A company only pays to screen you once they want to move you forward, so you'll never be asked to book one out of the blue.
Privacy & hiding

You stay in control of who can see you. Your current employer is blocked by default — we detect them from your CV and you confirm — and you can add any other company too: a competitor, a former boss, a company where a friend works.

Blocked companies never see your profile — even if they join TribeHired later. We match the block to the company itself, not just whoever's signed up today.

We do our best, but blocking is best-effort — a different company domain or a personal account could slip through, so we'll never promise it's airtight. Beyond your block list, you're only ever shown to companies actively hiring your skills.

How interviews work

When a company wants to meet you, they propose a few times and you pick the one that works — or suggest your own if none fit. That's it: it's booked, and you meet them directly. No application to chase, no middleman in the conversation.

Some companies interview you straight away; others ask for a screening first. Either way, the request lands in your profile and your inbox, and nothing moves forward until you choose a time.

If it goes well, you negotiate and accept the offer directly with the company. It's always free to you — companies pay for the screening, never for hiring you.
